Riksförbundet för homosexuellas, bisexuellas och transpersoners rättigheter ( RFSL ) is the largest and most important LGBT organization in Sweden . RFSL was founded in 1950, making it one of the oldest LGBT civil rights organizations in the world. RFSL currently has 6,000 members and 28 local chapters spread across the country in Sweden.

In July 2007, the RFSL received official advisor status to the United Nations as a non-governmental organization . On July 2, 2007, the organization changed its name from Riksförbundet för sexuellt likaberättigande to today's.
