Rimantas Dijokas

Rimantas Dijokas (born April 21, 1956 in Magadan , Soviet Union ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of Utena .

Life

In 1968 he came to Lithuania and after graduating from the 3rd secondary school in Utena in 1973, he studied at the Vilnius Building Technology Center , and from 1974 to 1976 did compulsory service in the Soviet Army . 1978 graduated from the construction technical center in Vilnius and became a construction technician . From 1988 to 1994 he completed his degree in civil engineering at the building faculty of Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas . From 1995 to 1997 he was mayor of Utena, from 1997 to 2000 head of Utena district , from 2000 to 2006 marketing director in the company UAB “Liutagras”, since 2007 technical director at AB “Utenos melioracija”.

Since 1993 he has been a member of Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai .
