Rina Mor (* 16th February 1956 in Kiryat Tiv'on as Rina Messinger ) is a former Israeli beauty queen .

Mor-Goder was the first Israeli female winner of the Miss Universe title (elected July 11, 1976 in Hong Kong ). Shortly before, she had been elected Miss Israel (Malkat HaJoffi).

On the occasion of her election, three years after the Yom Kippur War , she said: “I'm no politician. I think my being Miss Universe will show people that Israel has another side, not only war ”(“ I'm not a politician. I think my election will show people that there is another side of Israel too - not just the war "). Her wish to travel to Arab countries as well was not fulfilled because she was considered an undesirable person there - especially because of her advertising activities for the Jewish Agency .

She later studied law and became a lawyer in Tel-Aviv .
