Ringstrasse (Siegburg)

The Ringstrasse in Siegburg is a municipal road in the city center. It runs in an arch outside the old city wall. It is largely a residential street with no commercial units.

location

The Ringstrasse leads from the confluence of Alleestrasse / Bachstrasse to Kaiserstrasse . The Friedensplatz and Humperdinckstrasse go off from it. The Ringstrasse is closed to vehicle traffic both towards Kaiserstrasse and in the middle by bollards .

Public facilities

The parking garage of the Rhein-Sieg-Halle and the Siegburg hospital, the Helios clinic with the chapel are located in the Ringstrasse .

Architectural monuments

The street has a special flair due to its listed residential buildings from around 1900, including the house on Ringstrasse 21 . These architectural monuments are entered in part A of the monument list of the city of Siegburg; The basis for the admission is the Monument Protection Act North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).
