Rita Wagner

Rita Wagner (born April 13, 1958 in Schönecken ) is a German politician ( FDP ). From 2009 to 2011 she was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

Wagner graduated from high school in Trier in 1977 and then completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office clerk by 1979. She then studied business administration at the University of Trier until 1986 . From 1986 until she moved into the state parliament she worked as a marketing and sales manager. From 1996 to 1999 she completed a distance learning course in the field of environmental protection at the University of Koblenz-Landau .

Wagner has been a member of the FDP since 1998 and was involved at the local level until she succeeded Stefanie Lejeune as a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate in 2009 . There she was a member of the Committee for Equality and the Advancement of Women and the Petitions Committee. She was not re-elected in the 2011 state election.
