Knightly

The knightly measure was a grain measure in the Swiss canton of Solothurn .

It existed in addition to the commonly used 13.5 liters and differed greatly in size. The common Mäss was staggered in 1 Mäss = 4 Immi = 8 Achtelmäß = 16 Batzendingli = 667 ⅔ Paris cubic inch = 13.5 liters

  • 1 knightly = 915 Parisian cubic inches = 18.15 liters
  • 1 knightly = 914.917 Parisian cubic inches = 18.1497 liters
