Knight horse

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the Middle Ages, knight horses or feudal horses were the mounted war team to be provided by the knighthood to the head of the empire or the liege lord for war and messenger services. The knight horses were later replaced by regular cash benefits (knight horse money ) or by a one-off replacement.
