Riwaq

Riwaq ( Arabic رواق Riwāq ) is a term from Islamic architecture . He called arcades , porticoes and colonnades , which are open on at least one side.

In a courtyard mosque, riwaqs in one or more rows surround the open inner courtyard ( Sahn ) .
