The Rjúkandi is a waterfall in the east of Iceland .

If you drive from Egilsstaðir towards Mývatn on the ring road , you will reach this waterfall after about 50 km. The road runs roughly halfway between the fall and the mouth of the Ysta-Rjúkandi stream ( isl. Outermost steam generator ) into the Jökulsá á Brú . The distance is about 500 m in each case. To the west the smaller streams Mið- and Fremstra-Rjúkandi ( middle and foremost ..) flow . The waterfall is 93 meters high and 11 meters wide.
