Robert Ball (politician)

Robert Ball († January 25, 1635 ) was Mayor of Dublin from 1604 to 1605 and again from 1609 to 1610 .

Robert Ball was one of Walter Ball and Eleanor Ussher's four children . He came from two influential families who had already produced several mayors and councilors . Ball himself was also the councilor of Dublin and twice served as mayor.

In his first marriage he was married to Jenet Ussher († 1620), the daughter of the Anglican Bishop Henry Ussher and third cousin. He later married Margaret Barry.
