Laura Michelle Kelly (born March 4, 1981 in Totton , England ) is a British actress , singer and musical artist .

Career

She received the Olivier Award for her portrayal of the title character Mary Poppins in the musical of the same name in London's West End . She became known internationally for her role as Lucy from the film Sweeney Todd - The Devilish Barber from Fleet Street . Her first solo album The Storm Inside was released on May 1, 2006. In Germany, she was seen in May 2008 at the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen in the play Speed-The-Plow by David Mamet . In 2011 she shot the musical film Goddess in Australia alongside Ronan Keating .
