Robert J. Mical (also: RJ Mical; born January 26, 1956) is an American computer and software developer.

Life

Robert Mical built his first computer , a tic-tac-toe game machine, when he was 14. In 1979 he graduated from the University of Illinois in Computer Science, English and Philosophy .

Later he created video games for Williams Electronics Games and was then involved in the development of the Amiga computer. Together with Dave Needle he also developed the Atari Lynx and later the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer game console for 3DO .

Mical worked for the Sony group from 2005 to 2011 and has been with Google since 2012 .

Robert Mical holds ten patents.
