Robert Kling

The Robert Kling GmbH was a German office equipment manufacturers. The company based in Wetzlar existed between 1918 and 1975.

history

The company was founded in Wetzlar in 1918. In 1940 the change to a GmbH took place. In 1949 the manufacture of mechanical calculating machines began, initially hand-operated, later also electrically operated. The products were sold under the brand name "Rokli". From 1953 adding machines were also produced. The manufacture of own calculating machines was stopped in 1958, instead products from the Schubert company in Rastatt were marketed. The company was taken over by FAG Kugelfischer in 1974 , but all activities were discontinued in 1975.
