Design features

Roberto Ferris art is described by some critics as anachronistic . The design of Roberto Ferris works is very much based on the paintings of baroque artists. The painter Caravaggio gives him most of his inspiration. However, due to the use of surrealistic pictorial elements, Ferri's works also contain modern design features, which partially differentiate his paintings from the Baroque and Romantic periods . Ferri also often deliberately creates characters whose appearance shows strong contrasts ; accumulated by juxtaposing "love and death" or "intoxication and punishment".
