Roberto Zárate , also known by the nickname Chango , is a former Mexican football player at the position of the striker .
There is evidence that "Chango" Zárate was under contract with CD Oro between 1944 and 1948 in the 1940s .
In the early 1950s he won the Mexican championship twice in a row : first (1952/53) with the CD Tampico and in the following season (1953/54) with the CD Marte .
