Seixezelo is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northwestern Portugal .
Seixezelo belongs to the Vila Nova de Gaia county in the Porto district . The community had an area of 1.45 km² and 1708 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Seixezelo and Pedroso were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Pedroso e Seixezelo .
