Chinese Super League table tennis

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Chinese Super League table tennis ( Chinese中国 乒乓球 超级 联赛, CTTSL - Chinese Table Tennis Super League) is the top division in the popular sport of table tennis in the People's Republic of China .

The two bottom of the table of the CTTSL, which currently has ten teams in the 17th round of its hosting (June 2011), will relegate to China Table Tennis Jia League Group A at the end of the round . The top two of the Jia League Group A, in turn, have to play a play-off round with the third and fourth from bottom of the elite league for promotion .

Non-Chinese top players such as the temporary world number one Timo Boll in 2007 and 2011 in the preliminary round of the subsequent Chinese team champion from Zhejiang or Joo Se-hyuk (2011) repeatedly took part as guest players in the championship round of what is probably the strongest table tennis league in the world.
