Robin Laing (musician)

Robin Laing (born February 12, 1953 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish folk musician and songwriter who is also known under the nickname "The Whiskey Bard" ("The Whiskey Bard") because of his numerous songs about whiskey and whiskey.

Career

Robin Laing gained national fame when he won the song competition announced on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Forth Bridge in 1990 .

Until 1996 he worked in the healthcare sector. Since then he has been working full-time in the music business.

Regular concert tours take him to Germany , Denmark and Switzerland, among others .

He now lives with his family in Carluke , Lanarkshire .
