Rocco Cipriano
Rocco Cipriano (* 1968 in Muri) is a Swiss martial artist. He was multiple champion in boxing , kickboxing , Thai boxing and Sanda boxing, and multiple lightweight world champion in kickboxing.
In 2004 he was voted “Martial Artist of the Year” in the Bern Congress Center.
He has been honored several times not only as an athlete, but also for his social commitment and the youth work he has done by the Department of Education, Culture and Sport, as well as by the municipality of Wohlen.
On December 29, 2007 he gave his farewell fight at international level in his home village of Wohlen and successfully defended his world championship title for the last time, according to the WAKO version.
