Rocco Ronzani

Rocco Ronzani OSA (* 1978 in Rome ) is an Italian Roman Catholic theologian.

Life

The brother of the Augustinian Province of Italy, he studied philosophy and theology at the Pontificia Universitas Gregoriana and on patristic at the Institutum Patristicum Augustinianum . It was in February 2010 with a dissertation on Patristic Philology doctorate . In 2008 he graduated from the Scuola Vaticana di Paleografia, Diplomatica e Archivistica . He teaches patrology at the Augustinianum and at the Pontificia Universitas Lateranensis . Since 2009 he has been a member of the Historical Institute of the Augustinian Order, the International Association of Patristic Studies , the Roma nel Rinascimento cultural associationand co-editor of the journal Analecta Augustiniana . Since 2014 he has been theological advisor to the Congregation for the Causes of the Saints .

His main research interests are late antiquity, the early Middle Ages and the history of the Augustinians.
