Peer Moberg (born February 14, 1971 in Oslo ) is a former Norwegian sailor .

successes

Peer Moberg took part in four Olympic Games . At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , he won the bronze medal in the laser boat class . He finished the regatta behind Robert Scheidt and Ben Ainslie with 46 points overall in third place and kept fourth-placed Australian Michael Blackburn two points ahead of them. Four years later he finished tenth in Sydney , in 2004 he did not get beyond 21st place in Athens . At the Games in Beijing in 2008 Moberg started in the boat class Finn-Dinghy and finished the regatta in 19th place.

At world championships Moberg secured bronze medals both in 1992 in Izola in the Europe boat class and in 2001 in Cork in the laser. In 2010 he was also runner-up in the 5.5 meter class on Lake Garda .
