Rodney Patrick Foster (born September 2, 1985 in Houston , Texas ) is a former American basketball player who played for the Bayer Giants Leverkusen in the ProB in 2009/10 . Foster is 1.85 meters tall and weighs 85 kg. He played in the position of point guard .

Rodney Foster began his career at Rice University . There he was able to show 12 PpS (points per game), 3.1 RpS (rebounds per game) and 4.5 ApS (assists per game) in his senior year in the NCAA.

After his four-year college career, Foster played for the German second division club BBC Bayreuth , but those responsible refrained from any commitment after Foster's tryout. Rodney Foster has since been without a contract on the free player market and was signed on October 30, 2009 by the Bayer Giants Leverkusen , who had recently dismissed the American John Grotberg.

The Giants did not sign Foster for the coming season and so the American ended his career. Rodney Foster now works as a banker in Houston.
