The Rogožarski PWT ( Serbian - Cyrillic Рогожарски ПВТ ) was a Yugoslav training aircraft for fighter pilots , produced by Rogožarski , which was used in the 1930s. The main wing was designed and swept in high- wing construction .
development
It was designed by a development group consisting of Rudolf Fizir, Kosta Sivčev, Adem Bišćević, Ljubomir Ilić and Sima Milutonović.
The prototype flew for the first time in 1934, and production of the PWT started that same year. Since it had good-natured flight characteristics and was even suitable for aerobatics, large numbers of them were produced.
Of this type, a version equipped with light metal floats also appeared for the Yugoslav Navy, which also went into series production. The name for this machine was PWT-H . The further development of the PWT was the R-100 .
When the German Wehrmacht invaded Yugoslavia in 1941, 57 PWT were still in use with the troops.
