Pipe network calculation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pipe network calculations are used to determine the hydraulic performance of existing or planned pipe networks. The minimum and maximum pressures at each tapping point are decisive for normal operation. In the case of water supply networks in densely populated areas, the need for extinguishing water is the decisive load case, since in this case water is drawn from the hydrant. The design of gas supply networks takes into account the Munich load profile for the winter peak.
