Rolf Bader
Rolf Bader (born April 27, 1969 in Stuttgart ) is a German musicologist .
Life
He studied systematic musicology, physics, ethnology and historical musicology at the University of Hamburg , where he obtained his doctorate in 2002 under Albrecht Schneider and Helmut Rösing and completed his habilitation in 2005 . Since 2007 he has been Professor of Systematic Musicology at the Institute for Systematic Musicology in Hamburg . His main research interests are music acoustics and music signal processing, music hardware and software development, music ethnology, music psychology and music philosophy.
