Rolf Krebs (theologian)
Rolf Krebs (born January 29, 1949 in Duisburg-Meiderich ) is a German Protestant theologian.
Career
Rolf Krebs studied Protestant theology in Wuppertal and Münster, was a pastor in Gronau (Westphalia) from 1976 and superintendent of the Steinfurt-Coesfeld-Borken church district from 1996 . From 2004 until his retirement in 2013 he headed the Evangelical Office of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf as a representative of the Evangelical Churches ( EKiR , EKvW and Lippische Landeskirche ) . As a co-founder of the Rotary Club Gronau, he helped to implement many social projects.
Awards
- In 2019, Krebs received the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia .
