Rolf Schofer

Rolf Schofer (* 1954 in Villingen ) is a German mathematician and university professor.

He attended school in Villingen and then studied mathematics in Karlsruhe. In 1984 he received his doctorate. He then worked for various banking institutes before he was appointed professor at Furtwangen University in 1989 . There Schofer teaches business administration, economics and mathematics at the Faculty of Digital Media. Since summer 2006 he has been the rector of the university.
