Rolf Wilke
Rolf Wilke (born January 19, 1899 in Swinoujscie , † after August 1967) was a German writer.
Life
Rolf Wilke was born the son of a master shoemaker. He took part in the First World War as a soldier. He then became a teacher and later headmaster in the border region of Posen-West Prussia . In the Second World War he became a soldier again.
After the Second World War, Wilke lived as a freelance writer in Dünsen in Lower Saxony . He was president of the companions and president of the Dünsener poet circle . In 1958 he was awarded the Narrator Prize of the Weichsel-Warthe Landsmannschaft .
