The Roma Rovers FC is a football club from Roma , Lesotho . He plays his home games at the Machabeng Stadium .
The club was founded under the name Maseru Rovers FC. At the beginning of the 80s he played successfully in the Lesotho Premier League , it wasn't enough for a championship. Nevertheless, he won the Lesotho Cup in 1981 and 1982. After the successes it became quieter in the club and in the meantime they were relegated to the Lesotho Second Division. It was renamed Roma Rovers FC and moved to the National University of Lesotho in Roma. In 1995 the club won the Lesotho Cup and in 1996 it won its first championship in the Lesotho Premier League. But the success did not last long and a few years later they got down again. It was not until the 2015 season that it was promoted again.
