Romani was an Italian bicycle manufacturer based in Sala Baganza in the province of Parma .

The company was founded in 1924 by the two Romani brothers and saw their heyday with cycling in the 1970s to the mid-1980s.

However, bicycles with the Romani logo were rarely seen, as a large part of the frame production (allegedly up to 80%) went to other bicycle manufacturers. In addition, bicycle shops in the area that did not make their frames themselves bought them from Romani, gave them their labels and then offered the finished bikes for sale under their names. Other frames were exported.

Columbus SL, SLX, TSX tubes and Reynolds tubes of comparable quality (e.g. 531 ) were used for the frames .

It is said that the Romani brothers were also involved in the production of Colner ( COLN ago ER nesto) frames and thus collaborated with the renowned Italian manufacturer Colnago .
