Romualdas Karazija

Romualdas Karazija (also Romas Karazija ; born May 18, 1942 in Subačius ) is a Lithuanian nuclear physicist .

Life

From 1959 to 1964 he completed his studies at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of Vilnius and from 1965 to 1967 he studied at the Institute of Lietuvos mokslų akademija (headed by Adolfas Jucys ). In 1968 he received his doctorate on the subject of “Some questions relating to the calculation of the matrix elements of the energy operator for complex atoms” and in 1993 he completed his habilitation on “Configurations of free atoms with internal voids and properties of Auger and X-ray spectra”. He has worked at Vilnius University since 1990 and at Vilniaus pedagoginis universitetas since 1995 . In 2000 he was appointed professor .
