Romy (chocolate)
Romy (brand name ROMY ) is a confectionery specialty. It is milk chocolate filled with roasted coconut flakes in cocoa cream (50%), the total coconut content in the product is 23%. Romy is made by Hosta in Stimpfach near Crailsheim and, along with Ritter Sport, is one of the few chocolate brands that are made in a square shape. Romy has been on the market since the 1970s and is sold seasonally in the two editions ROMY Original (October to March) and ROMY Summer Edition (April to September). The original version is not sold in the summer months due to its lower melting point.
