Ronen Reichman

Ronen Reichman Hebrew רונן רייכמן(* 1960 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli Judaist and publicist . He has been a professor at the University of Jewish Studies in Heidelberg since 2004 .

Life

Reichman studied Jewish Studies and Philosophy at Tel Aviv University and the Free University of Berlin . From 1994 to 1996 he worked as a research assistant at the seminar for Jewish studies at the University of Frankfurt. In 1996 Reichman received his doctorate on Mishna and Sifra . A literary-critical comparison of parallel traditions . From 1996 to 2004 Reichman worked as a research assistant at the University for Jewish Studies in Heidelberg. In 2004 he completed his habilitation on abductive thinking and talmudic argumentation . Since 2001 he has been co-editor of the magazine Trumah , the magazine of the University for Jewish Studies Heidelberg and since 1989 a member of the Association of Judaists in Germany.
