Ronny Someck
Ronny Someck ( Hebrew רוני סומק; Born Somech, * 1951 in Baghdad ) is an Israeli poet , writer , artist and exhibition organizer of Iraqi - Jewish origin who has received many awards .
He came to Israel as a child, studied Hebrew literature and philosophy at Tel Aviv University and art at the Avni Academy of Art .
He has now published over ten volumes of poetry and children's books. Parts of his works or anthologies compiled from them have been translated into over 30 languages.
