Ronstan International Pty Ltd. is an Australian company that produces accessories for yachting and sailing. The company is headquartered in Sandringham, Australia .

Ronstan was founded in 1953 by Ron Allatt and Stan Lenepveu under the name Ronstan Marine Equipment Pty Ltd and manufactured accessories for sailing ships. The company initially stood out from the competition primarily through the use of novel materials in its products; stainless steel and plastics were used instead of the traditional bronze and brass. In the 1960s, the company began offering its products on the international market, particularly in the United States . In 1977 the founders sold the company to the Australian Reinforced Concrete Engineering Company , with Lenepveu continuing to manage the company. Several takeovers followed, most recently in 1995 by the British Chemring PLC . Since 1997 the company has been led by Alistair Murray. That year, the company achieved its highest ever turnover of 20 million Australian dollars. In 2001, Ronstan took over the respected racing yacht equipment manufacturer Frederiksen . In 2003 the company was named Australian Marine Exporter of the Year . Ronstan is one of the world's best-known manufacturers of boat fittings and standing rigging .

In addition, Ronstan is active in the construction sector, in steel and glass construction. Elements developed for sailing, such as shrouds, tensioning elements and shackles, are used in the building industry for steel cable structures.
