The rose garden is a garden in the Great Tiergarten in Berlin .

history

The rose garden was laid out in 1909 by the rose breeder Peter Lambert . Like many other monuments in the Great Tiergarten, the rose garden fell victim to the heavy fighting in Berlin during the Second World War . It was restored in 1974 in a reduced form and experienced a "deep slumber" in the following decades.

From 2003 to 2005 the facility was extensively restored and restored for 250,000 euros.
