Rosseti ( Russian Открытое акционерное общество "Российские сети" , short form ОАО "Россети" ) is a Russian electricity supplier based in Moscow . Various nuclear power plants in Russia are owned by the company. The company is listed on the Moscow Stock Exchange in the RTS index .

history

Rosseti was founded in 2007 with the reorganization of the Russian energy sector from the dissolved Unified Energy System and first went by the name Interregional Distribution Grid Companies Holding ( IDGC Holding for short ) until it was renamed Russian Grids in 2013 . In August 2014 the company was renamed Rosseti.
