Certification in Russia

In order to enable the import and export of goods in Russia, it is necessary to draw up permissive documents. The main goal of Rostest is the preparation of permissive certification documents. The institutions that cooperate with Rostest in Russia are the Russian Technical Regulation , the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) , the Russian Ministry of Consumers Supervision and the RRIS (Russian Research Institute of Certification).

After receiving the necessary Russian certificates, foreign companies can submit their products with the required documents, thus saving money for distributors. In the past, when distributors and Russian buyers of foreign products acquired, the certification certificates had to be provided through them. Nowadays, most Russian customers want the products to already have the necessary certifications.

The ROSTEST Certification Center cooperates directly with the manufacturers and creates the certificates according to different certification systems. This allows the copy of the certificate to be transferred to a Russian buyer or dealer.
