The Rostocker Tor in Teterow is one of the two remaining city ​​gates . The Gothic multi-storey brick gate from the middle of the 14th century in the northwest of the old town secured the roads to Rostock and Güstrow .

The gate has an ogival passage with a square base. The passage was subsequently enlarged. The gate on the city side is adorned with a large , unplastered plaster panel , smaller pointed arch panels of various sizes on the upper floors and a stepped gable . The field side has three distinctive plaster panels in the central part, around which several small plaster panels are arranged.
