The Red Tower , also called Bastion (on) Südallee , is a building in the green belt monument zone in the Rhineland-Palatinate city ​​of Trier , Kaiserstraße opposite No. 24.

The round city ​​wall tower is a sandstone block structure and was built in 1543 by the city master builder. It is a preserved part of the razed city wall and was presented to it as a round tower.

The property was funded by the German Foundation for Monument Protection in 2012 and 2014 .
