Rotona

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rotona is a Celtic deity of the hunt and the woods. In the Interpretatio Romana , she is mostly equated with Diana , like Abnoba and Sirona , among others . Her symbol is the wheel. That is why she is also known as the “wheel goddess” and, in a symbolism of the wheel for harmony and the change of seasons, “goddess of rita (correctness)”.

Whether there is a connection with the goddess Ritona cannot be proven.
