Rowland (unit)

The Rowland , named after the American physicist Henry Augustus Rowland , was a use from 1887 to 1907 unit of wavelength , which especially in spectroscopy was used. It goes back to the diffraction grating (Rowland grating) improved by Rowland in 1882 .
