Roy Thorpe
Roy Thorpe (born May 18, 1934 ) is a retired British walker .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974, he won silver in the 20 mile race for England .
In 1976 he came in 32nd place in the 50 km walk at the World Athletics Championships in Malmö .
