The Ruchanijat party ( Kazakh "Руханият" партиясы ; German rebirth ) was a green political party in the Republic of Kazakhstan .

Serik Sultangalijew has been the chairman since 2013. The party was approved by the Ministry of Justice (Kazakhstan) on October 6, 2003 and most recently had 72,000 members.

The party had representations in all 14 regions of the republic and in the two cities of Nur-Sultan (Astana until 2019) and Almaty . Members of the party were mainly employees of the education system, the health system, scientific and cultural institutions as well as entrepreneurs and students. The most important goals of Ruchanijat were the commitment to the economic upswing in Kazakhstan while at the same time protecting the environment, solving the social and ecological problems in the country and building a morally and intellectually rich society .

In the 2004 elections she received 0.44 percent of the vote. In the last parliamentary elections on August 18, 2007, it only received 22,159 votes, or 0.37%, and thus clearly failed to pass the seven percent hurdle . She did not have a member of the Maschilis .

On March 16, 2010, it was decided at a party congress to ask the European Green Party for observer status. The party would be the first Kazakh party to join a European party.

In November 2013, the party merged with Adilet to form the new Birlik party .
