Rude Rich and the High Notes is a Dutch ska band.

Band history

Rude Rich and the High Notes were founded in Amsterdam in 1998. In 1999 the first album "The Right Track" was released by Boombax Music (Netherlands). In 2001 the band switched to the German ska label Grover Records , and released the second studio album "Change The Mood" . In addition to their own music, the band also works regularly as a backing band for Jamaican ska singers such as Winston Francis and Derrick Morgan . Recordings were also made and concerts were played with the Jamaican ska trombonist Rico Rodriguez .
