Rudder position indicator
The rudder angle indicator is a technical device on ships and boats, in certain spaces such as the bridge of the actual position, respectively, the wheelhouse or the control state with the actual deflection of the rudder indicating in degrees. There is a feedback on the rudder shaft of the rudder system, which shows the actual value of the rudder angle on the rudder position indicator. Rudder angle indicators should work in approximately real time. The transmission of the signal containing the rudder position can be mechanical, electromechanical or electrical.
