Rudi Lorch (born January 20, 1966 ) is a former German soccer player .
Lorch started playing soccer at TSG Schnaitheim . He joined the VfB Stuttgart Juniors in 1982 via SB Heidenheim . As a junior senior, he played for the club's first team in the 1983/84 season and became German champion in 1984. For the following season he received a professional contract and played 20 games this season - mostly as a substitute. In December 1985 Lorch moved to SSV Ulm 1846 . With Ulm he was champion of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga . For the 1986/87 season he moved to VfR Aalen .
