Rudolph E. Siegel

Rudolph E. Siegel (March 2, 1900 - September 30, 1975 ) was an American doctor and medical historian .

Life

Siegel was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo . He holds a diploma from the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been a member of the International Academy of the History of Medicine , the American Board of Cardiology and the Medical History Society of Western New York , among others .

Siegel has published studies on Galen and a translation of his work De locis affectis , research that gave a new picture of the Greek doctor.
