from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ruhr Cleanliness Act of June 5, 1913 was created as the legal basis for wastewater treatment on the Ruhr . The basis was a study by Karl Imhoff on keeping the Ruhr clean.

It dates to the same day as the Ruhrtalsperrengesetz and was published in the Prussian Law Gazette ( PrGS. 1913 No. 30 p. 305; PrGS. NW. 1961 special volume p. 210). Through the "Law on the Ruhr Association (Ruhr Association Law - RuhrVG -)" of 7 February 1990 ( .. GV NW p 178) were replaced the Ruhr pollution control law and the Ruhr Dam Law 1 July 1990.
