The Rumänistik is a science that deals with the Romanian , engaged culture, language, literature, art history and so on. It developed from the neo-philological subjects. At the Friedrich Schiller University Jena there is a junior professorship for Romanian Studies, which is occupied by Valeska Bopp-Filimonov.
